Recorded in June 2011 in the artist’s studio, Matti Kallionen discusses some recent works and the ideas behind a new public project proposal for Anna Lindhs plats in Malmö.

Matti Kallioinen (born 1974) is based in Stockholm. He was educated at Konstfack and works in a wide range of mediums including installation, sculpture, performance and video. Experiencing Kallioinen’s practise at times requires an all-in self-reflective submission to his futuristic psychedelia, a double take on the reality of the moment as he juggles with your sensory receptors.
