Gunilla Klingberg is well known for her work with repetitive radiating patterns exhibited extensively in institutions, galleries and public spaces. In the summer of 2012 Klingberg completed her largest work to date ‘A Sign in Space’, a huge sandprint at Laga beach on the north coast of Spain for the Urdaibai Art Biennale. Here Klingberg talks of the inspiration and logistics behind this work and her recent exhibition at Nordenhake in Stockholm. The talk took place at Klingberg’s studio in Stockholm November 2012.
