Lina Selander works predominantly with film, photography and sound. Approaching her subject matter in a quasi-documentary fashion she uses an inquisitive and subtle torch to illuminate the foggy details of a story, offering up a parallel narrative reading on the subject matter through the use of editing and presentation techniques. In this meeting, which took place in her studio in Stockholm in June 2102, she talks about her recent work including ”Lenin’s Lamp Glows in the Peasant’s Hut” presented recently at Manifesta 9 in Genk, Belgium.
